The Bad Boys 4 adventure ‘Ride or Die’ trailer was released this week. The action-packed film features some explosive VFX from our team in MEL, led by VFX Supervisor, Dom Hellier. We can’t wait to snap this one up when it arrives on the big screen this June!
Cox Mobile
Our VFX team in CHI partnered up with FCB Chicago once again to bring to life Cox Mobile’s hero character, Annie (along with her signature lighting bolt tattoo), who is living her best life at the fair this time around. 🐑
Capital One at Magic Mart
Spike Lee, Charles Barkley and Samuel L. Jackson are headed to Magic Johnson’s Magic Mart!
Our CHI team led by Executive Creative Director, Aron Hjartarson teamed up with GSD&M for a series of new Capital One spots for this year’s March Madness tournament.

VFX Voice Podcast Celebrated Barbie
Ian Failes and Hugo Guerra are back in a new episode on their VFX Notes Podcast examining Barbie. They look at the VFX that went into building Barbie Land, creating the magic of Barbie’s work, and recreating the 2001 Space Odyssey sequence at the start of the film.

Rolling Green Rendezvous
MTL Director of Operations, Peter Skovsbo, took part in a panel discussion at the Rolling Green Rendezvous, an event focused on eco-responsibility within the audiovisual industry, organized by the Quebec Film and Television Council (QFTC). Together with fellow industry experts, they explored strategies to shape a sustainable future for visual effects and animation.
LDN hosts MEL guests
VFX Supervisor, Glenn Melenhorst and Head of Animation in MEL, Nick Tripodi from MEL shook off the jet lag to answer some questions and meet some of the LDN team in person, ahead of their set visit to Belfast.

Last week, VFX Supervisor Bob Winter was the guest speaker at the Arts University Bournemouth for the Friday Masterclass. Bob delivered a masterclass presenting our work for Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire.

Easter at Framestore
Our LDN studio celebrated the Easter weekend with some sweet treats this week, hot crossed buns and Mini Eggs were available to grab from the 5th-floor cafe to bring people together before they have a long weekend.
The Easter bunny came by the MTL studio and brought delicious treats for all. From bunny-shaped sugar cookies to mini egg chocolates, we definitely put a smile on our colleagues’ faces!
What a sweet way to celebrate Easter at the studio!
Framestore Football
It was a cold and wet Tuesday night at Coram’s Field and sadly Dneg came out as the winner that night. Dneg 4 – 1 Framestore. However, it’s not all bad with Man of the Match being Lead Compositor, Moray Caldwell.
They’ll learn from their mistakes and move on to the next game in 3 weeks time!
A reminder that LDN, VAN, MTL, MEL, and some people in MUM are OOO on Friday 29th, LDN and MEL are also OOO on Monday 1st.
