LDN hosts: “The Perimenopause, The Menopause, and The Workplace” event
Did you know:
– 8 in 10 women are affected by the peri/menopause but do not declare their symptoms
– 47% are less likely to apply for a promotion
– 25% are likely to even take early retirement
This week, we held a peri/menopause at work masterclass with Dr. Theodora Kalentzi, who shed light on the critical yet often overlooked impact of menopause in the workplace. She revealed that 80% of affected women do not disclose their symptoms, which significantly can impact their career progress and job satisfaction. Dr Kalentzi emphasised the importance for employers to foster an understanding and supportive work environment.
The good news is that our LDN HR team is developing a policy specifically addressing menopause in the workplace as part of our commitment to supporting colleagues. More news on that will be shared soon. Thank you to everyone who attended.
LDN hosts: emPOWER Breakfast
Our LDN studio also hosted Lemonade’s first emPOWER Breakfast, a women’s networking event where host Athene Parker was joined by CPO of Accenture Studios, Leila Bartlam to discuss adult diagnoses of neurodiversity.
Is it Fake?
This week we have another episode of our brand new series celebrating the meticulous craft that our artists put into our shows, film, ads and immersive projects. Viewers will be challenged to guess whether the shots they are seeing are real or if they are VFX wizardry. See if you can spot the difference in Sheba Hope Reef.
