A Sorting Hat Ceremony Like No Other
It turns out she was long overdue for a makeover… Welcome to the School for Good and Evil which follows best friends Sophie and Agatha who find their bond put to the test when they’re whisked away to a magical school for future fairy-tale heroes and villains. The film is scheduled to be released on the 21st October and features amazing work by our LDN, MTL and MUM studios, as well as our superb FPS crew. The Rules of Slumberland
You have to know the rules of dream world in order to break them. Jason Momoa shares the rules of Slumberland in this newly released teaser. The film is coming to Netflix this Thanksgiving and features work by our MTL, MUM and FPS teams.
Behind the Scenes of Heart of Stone
Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, and Alia Bhatt give us a sneak peek of Netflix’s upcoming spy thriller Heart of Stone, coming to you in 2023. The film will feature work by our talented team in VAN.
Let the Countdown Begin
Netflix finally announced the release date for 1899 as the 17th November! The wait is nearly over until start to follow a group of multinational immigrants traveling from the old continent to the new when they encounter a nightmarish riddle aboard a second ship adrift on the open sea. The series features amazing VFX work by our MTL, VAN, and MUM studios as well as the LDN FPS and IA teams.
The Crown
Netflix also revealed the premiere date for The Crown Season 5 as the 9th November! The series follows the British Royal Family and will return with an entirely new cast featuring work by our LDN IA team.

The Last of Us
HBOMax dropped a trailer for The Last Of Us, a new episodic project based on the hugely successful video game of the same name. Congrats to the FPS team who worked across three episodes of the show (including some world-beating Unreal work) – can’t wait to see it when it drops in early 2023!
Imaginary Friends
John Krasinski’s Imaginary Friends is one we’re all super excited about, and it’s set to bring together our teams in LDN, MTL and FPS. For those who just have to know what’s going on, here are some recent on set photos featuring director John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds. Just off camera (or so we assume, *cough*); our intrepid VFX Supervisor Chris Lawrence and the fancy VP kit invented by the clever sorts in FPS.

AEAF Awards
Congratulations to our teams on their success in this year’s AEAF Awards! Lexus’ ‘Parking Spot‘ won Gold in the ‘Commercials VFX‘ category, while Toyota ‘Upstream’ and ‘Never Stop’ as well as UNDP ‘Don’t Choose Extinction’ also received Special Merits for the category. Congrats to our client partners and teams!

Get-together in MTL
Systems/Data ops/ATD/Pipeline teams enjoyed a get-together in MTL studio for a fun-filled evening. Big thank you to the runner/event team for the great organisation!



Navratri Celebrations
To celebrate the auspicious nine-day festival of Navratri, our MUM colleagues decorated the studio with lamps and floral arrangements. A few of our colleagues even drew out a beautiful Rangoli at the reception area of the studio. Everyone looked their festive best in traditional Indian attire.



Latinx Heritage Month
The Chicago team celebrated Latinx Heritage Month with the owners of local Venezuelan restaurant, Rica Arepa, who shared their immigration story. From leaving Venezuela to opening two restaurants in Chicago within seven years, their specialty is the arepa – a corn pancake stuffed with marinated meats and vegetables.

007 Anniversary
The 5th October marks the 60th anniversary of James Bond and we are extremely proud to be part of the franchise by having worked our magic on seven title sequences as well as the visual effects for ‘No Time To Die‘ and ‘Quantum of Solace‘. The BFI Southbank is also celebrating the anniversary with exciting events and screenings so make sure to go and check it out if you are in LDN.
