The End of an Era
The passing of Queen Elizabeth II marks the true end of an era. Her 70-year represents the longest of any British monarch, and her impact on public life, popular culture and how the British Isles are viewed and understood around the world has been undeniable. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones in this time of mourning.
Thank you Ma’am, for everything.

Paddington and the Queen
While the worlds of blockbuster entertainment and the Royal Family are not ones that often intersect beyond the occasional movie premiere, this year’s Jubilee sketch featuring Paddington Bear was a rare exception. Frank Cottrell Boyce, who co-wrote the sketch, shared some of his fond memories of working with the Queen. He said the monarch had “brilliant” comic timing and describes her as “absolutely glowing” in her appearance alongside Paddington – sentiments we’re sure will be shared by those who worked on the sketch. Until we meet again
This week marks the end of the LDN Launchpad internship. For the past 8 weeks, the team of 18 young people have been learning and developing their skills across all our departments, and what a joy it has been to have them with us. Whilst some will be returning to study, five of the team will be beginning their careers with us in LDN. Whatever may be next for these budding creatives, they’ve been a wonderful addition to the Framestore family and we couldn’t be more excited to see where they grow!
Farewell class of 2022, until we meet again.
