If you haven’t watched the trailer then have a look below to see what awaits you.

Cloak vs. Tuna Melt

Tide’s tie-in with the Marvel Studios upcoming release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is loaded with nods to the long-running superhero franchise. The character of Sorcerer Supreme Wong goes on a frantic chase to catch and clean Doctor Strange’s sentient Cloak of Levitation, opting for Tide Pods stolen from Harbour since the cloak is so dirty. Our LA-based team was involved from start to finish, from on-set supervision, to CG character and environments, as well as FX work in Maya, Houdini, Nuke and Flame. Final colour grade by Tom Poole of Company 3.

Guardians on a mission

Epcot’s new Cosmic Rewind ride sees our favourite Guardians of the Galaxy enlisted on an urgent mission to stop a cataclysmic event from destroying multiple worlds, with the help of members of the public. To celebrate its launch, our LA team’s goal was to showcase the unique, dynamic movements of the ride’s vehicles, seeing the CG team work hard to ensure the digital interior was faithful to the practical version, creating close to 80% of the final content. Working closely with the director and Disney’s in-house agency, Creative Director Alex Thomas was engaged early in the project alongside Framestore’s Previsualization team (FPS) on sequences which became the blueprint for the shoot and VFX. execution.
