A fantastic feat and when we’ll find it
The Wizarding World just casually dropped this lovely teaser this week, showing the global impact of the Potter world and giving us a first look at the wonderful work from Overall VFX Supervisor Christian Manz. The film features work from our teams in MTL and LDN (helmed by VFX Supes Stephane Naze and Ben Loch, respectively), and we’ll all be able to get a more detailed look at Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore when the first full trailer drops next week. If you hear a faint squealing on Monday, that’ll be us.
Behind the scenes, under the sea
We got our first whiff of life from fathoms below as The Little Mermaid’s Javier Bardem (King Triton) hailed co-star Halle Bailey’s voice as “out of this world” in Variety. Bailey won’t be the only one showing off her pipes, as Bardem will also get his own song in the film.

Get to know Suzanne Jandu, Framestore’s Head of 2D (LDN). When she isn’t busy sorting out her Christmas shopping (yes, we all know the struggle is real) she enjoys cozy evenings on the sofa watching a good film with her two partners in crime… her daughters!
PLUS, meet Preety Raj (FX TD, MTL) who recently worked her magic on Don’t Look Up. Preety made the brave pivot from engineering to VFX, loves FRIENDS, and has her sights set on a certain gold statue. Could we BE any more impressed?
