Here Comes the Spiderverse

We started getting visitors… from every universe 💥 The new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped at a special fan event this week, but not before Tom Holland and crew saw it first. To say we are PSYCHED is an understatement, and we can’t wait to see our MTL team’s stunning work (expertly webbed by VFX Supes Adrien Saint Girons and Christian Kaestner) up there on the big screen.

Don’t Look Up

Based on real events that haven’t happened… yet. 🌕 Check out this new trailer for Don’t Look Up, with VFX work by VFX Supe Carlon Monzon and his stargazing MTL team. The film hits theatres 10th December and will be on Netflix on Christmas Eve

Lost In Space

It was trailers galore this week, with another drop for Lost in Space, s3 which also features VFX work from our MTL team, this time overseen by VFX Supe João Sita. The series drops on Netflix on 1st December.

Downton Abbey: A New Era

From outer space to the roaring 20s. We got a peek at the next Downton Abbey instalment, which is set to contain some serious reveals of the mysterious past of the Dowager Countess of Grantham (played by the one and only Dame Maggie Smith), as well as some lovely work from VFX Supe Patricia Llaguno and her LDN team.


Framestore x DoorDash

Everyone has their GOAT (greatest of all time)… but do you know your GOOAT (greatest ORDER of all time)? DoorDash’s new campaign saw Framestore’s CHI team sprinkle some VFX flavour onto a series of humorous vignettes about people debating their favorite orders, just in time for the NBA season.

Shoe Carnival

Shoe Carnival’s Back to School campaign saw Framestore’s CHI studio unbox a world of shoes with McCann Detroit once again to explore a playful family of characters, vivid color palettes, and a seamless camera drone that flies through various vignettes, all thanks to the magic of CG animation and design.


Method News

Elvis is in the Building

Baz Luhrmann shared a first look at Method project Elvis, which tells the life story of Presley (Austin Butler), as seen through the complicated relationship he had with his enigmatic manager Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). Uh huh huh huh?

London International Awards

We’re thrilled to have been named ‘Global Post-Production Company of the Year’ and ‘Regional Post-Production Company of the Year’ for Europe at this year’s LIA – London International Awards!

Campaign Big Awards

The Kiyan Prince campaign won big last night with 7 awards overall including Best Single and Best Campaign. The #wombpainstories and #painstories campaigns also each collected an award – we’re super proud of our work on these powerful campaigns.

Imaginary Iggy captured hearts since the McDonald’s Christmas advert launch last week. Creative Boom detailed the process, Shots said the film “hits all the beats of a festive heartwarmer perfectly”, with further press describing it as having “an exquisite emotional punch

Red Notice

Red Notice (featuring VFX from our talented MTL team!) is killing it, taking home the title for the film with the ‘Biggest Netflix Opening Weekend Ever’. Read the full piece from Deadline here. Director Rawson Marshall Turner sat down with the Hollywood Reporter this week, where the idea of not one, but two further films was floated.

XVFX Event

XVFX launched in 2020 as the network for people of colour working in the VFX, animation and games industries. We are really pleased to be hosting their first in-person networking and unofficial launch event at Framestore next week. Tickets available here.

The Web Summit panel ‘Bringing Kiyan back to Life’ is now available to watch here until 1st December. Karl Woolley (LDN) spoke alongside Katie Farmer from Engine, and Mark Prince OBE from the Kiyan Prince Foundation.

Return to Hogwarts

Big news from the Wizarding World this week as the cast of the Harry Potter films are set to reunite to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Philosopher’s Stone, and we could not be more excited.

London Half Marathon

LDN’s Jess Milsom and Kate McAuley are taking on the London Half Marathon in aid of Tommy’s, the baby charity. Tommy’s is the largest UK charity researching the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications – what an amazing feat for a brilliant cause.


Don’t forget, our offices in the USA will be closed next Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
