British Arrow Awards
The delayed 2020 British Arrows awards ceremony went ahead yesterday evening and we’re pleased to announce that Framestore has picked up a Silver award for the exquisite Purdey’s, Hummingbird and Colourist Simon Bourne (LDN) won a Bronze award for Cerveza Victoria, Xibalba. Congratulations to Simon and the talented minds behind Hummingbird!
Plenty of other commercials and campaigns we worked on also made the list including the NCDV’s impactful WFH film from last year, the Paddy Power ‘Save our Shirt’ commercial, the Direct Line idents for Channel 4 and the amazing Apple Bounce which was named advert of the year.
Locked & Loaded
Director James Gunn has been (shark)baiting fans with a series of Twitter bombshells, teasing us with the Suicide Squad trailer release today.

Army of the Dead – Zack Synder’s note to Framestore
You have absolutely nailed it when the director sends a video thanking you for ‘being amazing’. Director, Zack Synder personally thanks the MTL team for all their hard work bringing the movie to life.
He goes on to say “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I couldn’t have done it without you”. Well done, team!
Walkers
The LDN team set to work with Director James Rouse on the first of several new Walkers commercials as the brand launches new packaging, this one featuring the hilarious Asim Chaudhry working on a roof…. kind of.
