VES Nominations

We’re beyond proud to announce that we received a total of EIGHT nominations for this year’s VES Awards across seven projects. See our insta for more info on each project and BIG congrats to all of the artists who worked on these outstanding projects 🏆 👏

Congratulations also to Stephen Moroz who was nominated in the student category for his film Downfall 😎

There’s more where that came from as Avengers: Endgame also gets a BAFTA nomination in ‘Special Visual Effects.’


Golden Tomato Award

It’s a triple celebration for Avengers: Endgame as the movie wins the Golden Tomato Award for Best-Reviewed Wide Release Movie of 2019, described by the site as ” Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful.”


Timmy Failure, Mistakes Were Made

Check out the fresh trailer for Timmy Failure. The film will premiere at The Sundance Film Festival on January 25th and is set to stream on Disney+ on February 7th.

McDonald’s – ‘Appy Days

The advertising team in LDN delivered some clean-up VFX and colour grading on this McDonald’s ad which features lots of regional British slang. #pengting


Spectrum – Better Way

Inspired by Monty Python, the NY office worked alongside Director James Rouse once again to create four darkly comic and absurd spots, led by VFX Supe Martin Lazaro. See the latest film below and head to our website to see the other three genius spots which have been airing since November.

VES Nomination Event

The NY office hosted the NY judges for the VES Nomination Event last weekend.

Menopause Workshop

The LDN office ran a worskhop to support employees who are experiencing menopause at work and what impact it has on them. We brainstormed things we can do as colleagues and managers to support people going through this natural change.

If you missed the session and would like to know more, will be sharing the recorded session shortly.

Improv Class

Our Launchpad Pro Animation artists took part in a series of improv classes Through games and acting out scenes, the animators learn to make unexpected choices in their performances and to break out of their shell.

Portrait Sculpture

Check out the result from our latest series of Portrait Sculpture classes, credit to Dan Moore for the impressive sculpt and Shane Sumner for the photogrammetry and rendering to bring this to life.

Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing

Tim Flesch visited the CHI office to talk about the bowls and their energy and how we can affect change in our minds and bodies through sound frequencies. Those changes can help expand our creative capacities unblocking barriers that stifle our energy. Yeah mannnn.
