While we’re talking awards – and Framestore being magnificent generally – Chris Lawrence, Mike Eames, Theo Jones and Kyle McCulloch attended the Oscar VFX bake-offs hosted in LA last weekend.
Chris, Mike and Theo were representing Christopher Robin, while Kyle was there showcasing Mary Poppins Returns. Also in the running and featuring Framestore VFX work are Avengers: Infinity War and Welcome To Marwen, while Ready Player One also benefited from extensive Framestore concept art. Now to the nominations 🤞
With over 49 million views on the first Captain Marvel trailer, the love is now pouring in for the new, third trailer featuring tasty new content from the film 🙌
Framestore’s Angela Zhu and team collaborated with LA-based creative studio, Midnight Sherpa, to create a three-minute film on an EPIC scale. The film opened Tencent’s annual WE summit. Based around Janus the Roman god of past and future, the piece celebrates the excellence of mankind’s scientific developments.
