BAFTA Nominations

This week BAFTA announced that TWO films our VFX teams worked on are nominated for the award in Special Visual Effects – Avengers: Infinity War and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (with named nominees Christian Manz & Andy Kind). Ready Player One has also been nominated, featuring work designed by our brilliant Art Department. Oscar Bake-offs

While we’re talking awards – and Framestore being magnificent generally – Chris Lawrence, Mike Eames, Theo Jones and Kyle McCulloch attended the Oscar VFX bake-offs hosted in LA last weekend.

Chris, Mike and Theo were representing Christopher Robin, while Kyle was there showcasing Mary Poppins Returns. Also in the running and featuring Framestore VFX work are Avengers: Infinity War and Welcome To Marwen, while Ready Player One also benefited from extensive Framestore concept art. Now to the nominations 🤞
